Have you ever stopped to ask, How does my food affect my body?
The right food choices will help you manage your weight, boost your energy levels, skin health, and keep you healthy. In the time of Moses, you will find in Exodus 16:8 instructions on how they were feed. It states, “eat meat in the evening and bread in the morning.” You also see in Daniel where they ate only vegetables. Whichever one you choose, you must have good eating habits and combine the right foods.
Let’s look at why the instructions were to eat meat at night and bread in the morning. The fact is you should never mix heavy starches with heavy protein in the same meal. The combination is known to cause constipation, toxin, indigestion, and even cause malnourished cells, which may lead to cancer and gas. I am always amazed at how our bodies are designed. The critical point is, for your body to digest bread, it needs alkaline digestive juice, and to digest meat, it needs acidic digestive juices.
Your digestive system is very delicate. When it’s damaged, it will take time to heal. Some foods and drinks should not be mixed, which will bring further damage it. You can create an environment for ulcers by mixing the wrong foods at the wrong time. Our bodies require times of rest and healing.
